The Happy Shopper 20/20 took place today at the Lower Lode Pub in Tewkesbury on a picnic table, which added an extra challenge to the match. It was a close game however after many box infringements from Fox, Clements took the spoils 10-22. A scrappy game with only three tries, all other points from penalties. Good game and a good debut for team Fox.

Welcome to the world of MATCH BOX RUGBY
The season started last night with the GSD Safety Matches Cup (Short and Long Course) and the GSD Safety Matches Plate (Short Course).
Clements established his dominance winning both the LONG and the SHORT course games 50-42 and 52-32 against Rayfield.
In the Plate game both teams were on match point when team Pinless gave away a box infringement and team Rayfield converted the penalty to win the Plate 50-49.
